FAQs
When should I schedule my first visit?
Early intervention for nausea and vomiting in pregnancy can stop symptoms from progressing.
If you’re currently experiencing symptoms, or planning to became pregnant and are worried about NVP you can give us a call straight away for a free consultation to discuss your options.
What if I need preconception counseling?
We offer specialized preconception counseling services to help plan a healthy, comfortable pregnancy.
If you experienced HG or severe nausea and vomiting in previous pregnancies, we encourage preconception visits to advise a treatment protocol to minimize symptoms. Early treatment is key and can prevent you from experiencing more severe symptoms and complications.
If I already have an OBGYN, can I still use Harmonia?
Yes! We’ll coordinate with your OB/GYN to ensure you’re getting comprehensive, continuous care.
Harmonia will not replace the care you receive by your OBGYN. If applicable, we will establish a relationship with your OBGYN, and share your treatment plan and medication regimen with them.
How is Harmonia different from a regular OB/GYN office?
We specialize in managing NVP and HG, with a dedicated clinic that offers treatments like IV hydration and vitamin infusions specifically designed to relieve NVP and HG symptoms.
Available when you need us, we track your progress and symptom severity weekly, and assist you throughout your pregnancy on informed decision making, regarding your treatment plan and goals of care.
Our thoughtfully curated calm and relaxing environment, which overlooks the Navesink River and is drenched in natural sunlight offers both private rooms and shared spaces to connect with other patients.
Do I need a referral to see you?
No, you don’t need a referral. You’re welcome to schedule directly with us!
Can I bring a support person to my appointments?
Absolutely. We welcome the presence of an individual support person to join you for added comfort during your visits.
Currently we are unable to accommodate the company of small children due to safety restrictions.
Which insurance plans does Harmonia accept?
We accept Medicaid, Cigna, and BCBS. If you are not covered by these plans we offer a cash pay option and can provide you with a super bill to submit to insurance.
Call us to confirm if your plan is accepted.
